How Charity: water Changed My Perspective

About six years ago I was looking for non profit organizations to connect with and really make an impact. After I took extensive time doing research on many of the main stream organizations I was disappointed. I began to see how much of the money was leaked, leaving only cents on the dollar going to the causes I wanted to be involved with. I lost so much money to organizations before and had a hard time trusting them because of their lack of transparency and focus. When I came across Charity : water I didn't find just “another organization”, but rather a team of people willing to do all they could to solve an issue. They also continued to be innovative in their approach in how they obtain the capital to help reach their goals and keep a balance overhead. Not only does pretty much all the capital you donate go to the cause, the Founder and team are very transparent about the whole process. This is one of the few organizations that I believe are changing the way fundraising and support for real issues are being perceived.

This is how this heartfelt and innovative organization began just a few years ago. My hope is that you would take the time to watch , do some research, and take the time to help someone else by donating.

The video below is a recent appearance that features the Founder of Charity : Water on the #AskGaryVeeShow. This shows the growth and the difference that has been made in just a few years. This interview also shows the amount of work that must still be done in order to reach the end goal of clean water. What is most memorable about this is that clean water is just a bridge to transform the nations that are being effected.
